BACKGROUND
Development of an annual Asset Management Plan is one of the ongoing initiatives in the Orange County Sanitation District’s (OC San) Strategic Plan. The Asset Management Plan documents the condition of all critical OC San assets and identifies and prioritizes the short to long-term plan for asset maintenance, rehabilitation, and replacement.

OC San’s 2022 National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System permit requires the submittal of an Asset Management Plan every five years. To satisfy this requirement, OC San transmits its annual Asset Management Plan to regulators in January following adoption by the Board of Directors.
