BACKGROUND
Discussion of the Orange County Sanitation District (OC San) FY 2026-27 and FY 2027-28 Budget development process was initiated at the January 28, 2026, Board of Directors meeting. During this process, staff provide presentations to the Administration and Operations Committees, focusing on various areas of the budget. Staff will make a brief presentation on the proposed expenditure details of the Operating Budget at the Committee meetings.
The Operating and Capital Budgets, effective July 1 of this year, will be presented for adoption at the June 24, 2026 Board meeting.
RELEVANT STANDARDS
• Produce appropriate financial reporting - annual financial report & audit letter and Ops & CIP budgets every two years, with annual update
