BACKGROUND
Each month, staff provides an informational presentation on topics of interest to the Board of Directors. This month’s topic: Orange County Sanitation District Wastewater Collections.
RELEVANT STANDARDS
• Achieve less than 2.1 sewer spills per 100 miles
• Meet or exceed sanitary sewer overflow regulations
• Operate and maintain facilities to minimize impacts on surrounding communities, including odor, noise, and lighting
• Build brand, trust, and support with policy makers and community leaders
• Listen to and seriously consider community input on environmental concerns
