BACKGROUND
Orange County Sanitation District's (OC San) Plant No. 2 Headworks facility has seven Main Sewage Pumps (MSP) that transfer wastewater from the Bar Screen facility to the discharge channel and grit basin. MSPs #1 through #3 are dedicated to non-reclaimable flows and MSPs #4 through #7 are dedicated to reclaimable flows when operating in separated mode. Plant No. 2 MSPs allow for the treatment of all the wastewater flows that are routed to the plant.
RELEVANT STANDARDS
* 24/7/365 treatment plant reliability
* Maintain a proactive asset management program
* Meet volume and water quality needs for the GWRS

PROPOSED SOLUTION
Approve a Sole Source Purchase Order to Bender CCP, Inc. for the inspection, repair, replacement, and re-assembly of parts for Main Sewage Pump #7 at Plant No. 2.
TIMING CONCERNS
