BACKGROUND
Staff will provide an update on the progress of the Wastewater Rates, Fees, and Charges Study prepared by HDR Engineering, Inc. The Study includes development of cost-based regional wastewater service rates, capital facility capacity charges, supplemental capital facility charges, and ancillary charges applied to OC San customers over a 5-year period beginning July 1, 2023.
RELEVANT STANDARDS
• Stable rates, no large unforeseen rate increases
• Establish cost-based, proportional rates
• Meet the rate setting requirements of State law
